Teen USA Payroll consisted of a challenging Microsoft Excel spreadsheet of tables and calculations. I learned how to sort data from the least to greatest numerical value, and vice versa. I also used a multiplication formula to find out the gross pay, federal tax, social sec. tax, medicare tax, state, tax, and pension. I found the net pay by summing that data. The autosum function, and other formula functions saves a huge amount of time. My table was very neat and easy to understand. If i could I would have enhanced the appearance of the information on the spreadsheet.

In the assignment Formula Function, I used Microsoft Excel to create a spreadsheet of student's exam grades. This assignment was very realistic and could be very useful for many careers. I learned how to use the "count" function where you identify which cells you would like to count through to easily count the total figures. I also learned how to use the average function to average the test grades. The final formula I learned how to use was the minimum and maximum function to find out the highest and lowest number in a range of data. I did well with the count and averaging functions. I feel that I struggled to understand the min. and max. concepts, but by the end of the assignment I understood how to use the formula.

In "Raise", I Used Microsoft Excel and constructed a table based on salaries and raises of employees who served a various different number of years. I took the percentage of what the employee received and using the IF function, found out the employees new salary after the increase. This was one the easier assignments for me because I really understood the concept and feel as if I did a good job answering the corresponding questions. I think I did a fair job in the completition of the assignment meeting the requirements, and there wasn't much I could improve about my work.
